Privacy Policy - Suonote

Suonote ("the App") is developed and operated by Martin Poblet.
Your privacy is important. This policy explains how Suonote handles data.
1. Overview
Suonote is designed to keep your musical ideas private and under your control.
The App:
- Does not require an account
- Does not include advertising
- Does not include third-party analytics
- Does not track users across apps or websites
2. Data Collection
Suonote does not collect personal data.
The App does not collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Location data
- Device identifiers
- Usage analytics
- Contact information
There is no server-side user database.
3. Local Storage
All song projects, lyrics, chord progressions, and recordings are stored locally on your device using Apple's system storage frameworks.
This data remains private to you.
4. iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you enable iCloud sync:
- Project data is stored in your private iCloud container.
- Data is not accessible to the developer.
- Apple manages encryption and cloud security.
Suonote does not access or view your iCloud data.
5. Audio Recordings
Audio takes recorded within Suonote:
- Are stored locally on your device.
- May be synced to your private iCloud if sync is enabled.
- Are not transmitted to external servers.
6. Third-Party Content
Suonote includes a licensed subset of the Arachno SoundFont (Arachno Lite) by Maxime Abbey (Arachnosoft), used with permission.
This content is bundled within the app and does not collect or transmit data.
No third-party SDKs for tracking or analytics are used.
7. Data Sharing
Suonote does not:
- Sell data
- Share data
- Transfer data to third parties
All data remains under the user's control.
8. Exported Files
When you export MIDI files, chord charts, or project files:
- You control where those files are saved or shared.
- Suonote does not track or monitor exported content.
9. Children's Privacy
Suonote does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Since no personal data is collected, COPPA concerns do not apply.
10. Changes to This Policy
If the privacy policy changes, updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
